Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms.

1 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Special Events Academy website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

2 Certification Programs & Enrollment

Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age to enroll in our certification programs. By enrolling, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

Enrollment: Enrollment in any BASE, CORE, ACE, or CEP certification program constitutes an agreement to complete the coursework in accordance with our guidelines and policies.

Access: Upon enrollment and payment, you will receive lifetime access to the course materials for your enrolled program(s), unless otherwise specified.

Completion Requirements: To receive certification, you must successfully complete all required modules, assessments, and projects as outlined in each program's curriculum.

3 Payment & Refund Policy

Pricing: All prices are displayed in U.S. dollars (USD) and are subject to change. Current pricing is available on our Cost page.

Payment: Payment is required at the time of enrollment. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as indicated during checkout.

Refund Policy: We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. To request a refund, contact us at [email protected] within 30 days of your purchase date. Refunds are not available after 30 days or after completion of more than 50% of the course content.

Bundle Purchases: Bundle purchases (BASE + CORE + ACE) are subject to the same 30-day refund policy.

4 Intellectual Property

All course materials, including but not limited to videos, documents, templates, checklists, images, logos, and text, are owned by The Special Events Academy and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the course materials for your personal educational purposes only. You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, or share course materials with others
  • Create derivative works from our content
  • Use materials for commercial purposes without written permission
  • Remove copyright or proprietary notices from materials

5 User Conduct

You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Share your login credentials with others
  • Engage in any form of academic dishonesty or cheating

6 Certification & Credentials

Certification Issuance: Upon successful completion of program requirements, you will receive a digital certificate and badge that can be displayed on professional profiles, resumes, and email signatures.

Certification Validity: All certifications issued by The Special Events Academy are valid for life and do not require renewal fees.

Revocation: We reserve the right to revoke certifications if we discover academic dishonesty, violation of these Terms, or misrepresentation of credentials.

No Employment Guarantee: Certification does not guarantee employment, salary increases, or specific career outcomes. Our programs provide education and credentials to support your professional development.

7 Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Special Events Academy makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the Service, including but not limited to:

  • Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Achievement of specific career outcomes

8 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Special Events Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
  • Any content obtained from the Service
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

9 Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, including course content, features, or availability. We will make reasonable efforts to notify enrolled students of significant changes to course content.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
